John D. Parker is a native of Clarksville, Tennessee and a graduate of Clarksville Academy. He attended Austin Peay State University, graduating in 2004 with a degree in Political Science. While at Austin Peay, John was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike) fraternity. After graduation, John attended Nashville School of Law and graduated in 2009.
While attending law school, John worked for the Tennessee Secretary of State. After graduating law school, John joined the law firm of Parker & Pugh as a partner. John practices in Montgomery, Robertson and Stewart Counties. John is an active member of the Montgomery County Bar where he serves as President.
Prior to beginning his law practice, John served in the US Army for eight years, attaining the rank of staff sergeant (E-6). As a veteran, he is proud to serve the military community and knows how important veteran’s rights are.

Criminal: Since beginning his practice, John has handled hundreds of criminal cases and tried criminal jury trials with great results. John has handled criminal cases ranging from first-degree murder to human trafficking.
Divorce and Custody: John has handled many divorce and custody cases for clients over the years. Whether your case is uncontested or contested, John has the experience to handle your case.
Personal Injury: Whether it be a car wreck or a slip and fall, John is prepared to take the case. He has handled numerous injury cases over the years and would be happy to speak with you.
Estate Planning: We often don’t want to think about it, but it is a necessary part of life. John will sit down with you and discuss the importance of having a will and will assist you in the preparation of a will.
